GPA calculator
How do I calculate my GPA?
Calculate college GPA, high school GPA, weighted GPA, unweighted GPA, or cumulative GPA. This page does not average raw test scores.
Weighted, unweighted, and CGPA
One page for weighted GPA, unweighted GPA, and cumulative GPA.
How the GPA calculator works
This GPA calculator turns course grade points into weighted, unweighted, or cumulative GPA. Choose a mode, enter each course, and add credit hours when you want a credit-weighted result. It is not a class test average.
How to use the calculator
- Choose weighted, unweighted, or convert.
- Enter grade points for each course on your scale.
- Add credit hours when you want weighted or cumulative GPA.
- Calculate. This page does not average raw test scores.
Worked example
A 4.0 in a 3-credit course and a 3.0 in a 4-credit course is 3.43 weighted. Unweighted is 3.5 because both courses count the same.
Understanding your result
Unweighted GPA averages course grade points and ignores credits. Weighted or cumulative GPA multiplies each grade by credit hours, then divides by total credits. For raw test scores use the grade average calculator.
